On February 24-26, 2026, Flyability welcomed more than 160 industry professionals to Athens for its Maritime Drone Days event, designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the Elios 3 and explore the future of drone-enabled maritime inspection.
Over two days, attendees heard from a range of guest speakers representing organizations including ABS, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s Register, IACS, Cygnus Instruments, and TotalEnergies, offering insights into the latest trends and challenges in the sector.
The second day featured a hands-on training session aboard the historic Georgios Averof, made possible through the support of the Hellenic Navy. Attendees had the opportunity to pilot the Elios 3 and test its ultrasonic thickness measurement payload in a real maritime environment.
The event also highlighted Flyability’s Tethered Power Unit, which replaces the battery with a power cable to enable extended flight times, offering a glimpse into the next generation of inspection technology.
SPRINT Robotics is proud to serve as a media partner for this event, supporting knowledge exchange around advanced drone inspection technologies.
