Across Europe, industries are facing increasing pressure to maintain aging infrastructure while improving safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency. At the same time, skilled labor shortages and rising operational demands are accelerating the need for smarter, more automated inspection and maintenance solutions.
Robotic technologies, combined with AI-driven analytics, advanced sensing systems, and fleet management platforms, are rapidly transforming how industrial assets are monitored and maintained. From corrosion detection and leak monitoring to automated reporting and robotic welding, these technologies have the potential to significantly improve how infrastructure is managed.
To support the evaluation and adoption of these solutions, SPRINT Robotics is organizing the European Robotic Fitness Challenge, an asset owner-led initiative designed to assess robotic technologies in realistic industrial conditions. The Challenge brings together asset owners, robotics developers, technology providers, and industry experts to test and validate innovative solutions for inspection, monitoring, and repair across real operational scenarios.
JOIN US IN BERGEN, NORWAY
The European Robotic Fitness Challenge will take place May 19–21, 2026, in Bergen, Norway. Participants will gather in Bergen for networking and collaboration, while the challenges themselves will be executed at Equinor’s Mongstad Refinery and Technology Centre, providing a unique opportunity to evaluate technologies in an authentic industrial environment.
This event offers a rare platform for robotics companies and solution providers to demonstrate their capabilities directly to asset owners while receiving valuable feedback from industry experts.
