The global inspection, maintenance, and cleaning robotics community convened in Amsterdam from October 20–22, 2025, as the SPRINT Robotics World Conference for Inspection & Maintenance Robotics returned to the city for a landmark edition celebrating SPRINT Robotics’ 10th anniversary.

Recognized as the premier global gathering for I&M robotics professionals, the 2025 conference spanned two and a half days and delivered an expanded, high-impact program. More than 600 attendees from 41 countries joined 50+ speakers and 40 exhibitors, bringing together technology providers, asset owners, researchers, and decision-makers from sectors including energy, oil and gas, water, power, utilities, and industrial infrastructure.

A Milestone Conference in a City of Innovation

Returning to Amsterdam, the conference reflected on a decade of community-driven progress while setting the direction for the future of inspection and maintenance robotics. Visionary leaders, pioneering technologies, and forward-thinking minds came together for bold conversations, breakthrough insights, and meaningful cross-border collaboration.

Across 12 technical tracks, participants explored the latest advancements, challenges, and solutions shaping the industry, alongside workshops and roundtable discussions focused on scaling robotics and applications within the power sector.

High-Impact Keynotes and Strategic Dialogue

The conference featured insightful keynote presentations from industry and academia, including:

  • Jone Sæbbø, PhD (Aker BP)Yggdrasil: Shaping the Future of Operations in Aker BP
  • Prof. Glauco Caurin (São Carlos School of Engineering, University of São Paulo)Human-Robot Collaboration: Applications and Insights from the Aeronautical Industry
  • Mauricio Calva (Chevron Technical Center)The Process for Technology Development, Integration and Adoption
  • Tjibbe Bouma (SPRINT Robotics)A SPRINT Moment for Inspection & Maintenance Robotics: The Decade Ahead

A major highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between SPRINT Robotics and Adra, the EU-commissioned organization accelerating AI, data, and robotics. This strategic partnership underscores a shared belief that end-user–driven innovation is essential for delivering meaningful economic and societal impact.

Collaboration in Action: Industry Speed Dating

The expanded Industry Speed Dating session concluded the first day with strong engagement. Twenty-one exhibitors delivered rapid-fire pitches to 20 leading global asset owners, creating a high-energy environment focused on real challenges, practical solutions, and future collaboration within the I&M robotics ecosystem.
