SPRINT Robotics, in partnership with the University of Houston, successfully hosted the two-day Workforce of the Future: Robotics in Energy seminar on August 15–16, bringing together industry leaders, technology providers, students, and educators to explore the growing role of robotics and AI in the energy sector.
Day 1 convened industry professionals in Houston for expert presentations, panel discussions, and networking, addressing workforce challenges and the adoption of robotics for inspection and maintenance. Day 2 opened to students and the public, featuring technology demonstrations, a poster competition, a mini-career fair, and direct engagement with leading companies and academic institutions.
The event highlighted the importance of collaboration between industry and academia in developing talent and advancing robotics innovation, reinforcing SPRINT Robotics’ commitment to shaping the future workforce for the energy industry.
