SPRINT Robotics Members Explore Robotics Innovation in Pittsburgh

From September 8–10, SPRINT Robotics members gathered in Pittsburgh for an immersive three-day delegation trip focused on advancing robotics for inspection and maintenance. The program featured the SPRINT Robotics North American Chapter Meeting, live technology demonstrations from regional robotics solution providers, and site visits with leading energy asset owners, including Shell and CNX.

Delegates also explored cutting-edge research at Carnegie Mellon University and the National Robotics Engineering Center, gaining valuable insights into how academia and industry are shaping the future of automation. Packed with technical tours, expert discussions, and networking opportunities, the Pittsburgh trip highlighted the region’s role as a global hub for energy transition and robotics innovation—and reinforced the power of collaboration in driving the industry forward.
