ScoutDI develops drone-based systems for fully digitalized inspections of confined spaces in oil & gas, maritime, tank storage, aquaculture, agriculture, infrastructure, power generation and other industries. We are based in Trondheim, Norway.

The Scout 137 Drone System is an indoor inspection drone making no-man-entry inspections safer and more efficient. The drone has a 3D Lidar for mapping, navigation and obstacle avoidance in GPS-denied environments, that also generates location-tags for all the inspection data. In 2023 we added location-tagged UTM data to our portfoolio via the UTM Payload.

The drone is tethered to a ground station that provides power, a wired control signal channel unaffected by electromagnetic distortion inside metal structures, and a high-speed data network for the inspection data. You can connect the system to the internet and send data to the Scout Portal, a globally accessible cloud-based inspection data service for live-streaming, replay and analysis of inspection data.
